Charisma meets reach – and strengthens the ski region's brand
Success thanks to DOOH: the winter campaign for the Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg tourist destination attracted three times more visitors to the website and demonstrably strengthened the brand.
The Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg tourism organisation wanted to attract more visitors to its website with a traffic-boosting campaign and at the same time increase awareness throughout Switzerland. With its DOOH winter campaign featuring cult comedian and brand ambassador Kaya Yanar, the ski destination has hit the mark: during the campaign period, three times as many people visited the website of the ski region in the Bernese Oberland, while page views doubled.
Impactful traffic-boosting campaign
The effectiveness of DOOH is also demonstrated by the representative survey conducted by Livesystems via marktforscher.org before and after the campaign:
- +9% increase in brand awareness to 53%.
- 48% DOOH advertising recall in the target group.
- 88% popularity and acceptance.
In total, the campaign reached 23,167 million contacts within two weeks. The target group consisted of people who book winter holidays at least every two to three years.
Thanks to Livesystems’ DOOH campaign, we achieved our goals: we widely publicised our new partnership with Kaya Yanar and firmly established our brand. The results of the market research regarding the campaign support our view that we achieved or even exceeded our main objective – brand awareness.
